Scenes From A Night's Dream
At long last…here are a couple of pictures of our new home. The paperwork seems to have gone through correctly so all those Gypsies that I kicked for luck must have worked their cunning Pikey magic.
I'm not really a photo person. In the same way that the pictures are better on radio, so I prefer to paint with words rather than pixels. However Gina is taking pictures of the flat wherever we go and some people seem to be interested, so here are the visuals…
The top picture is the view from the balcony over the park square. The large building is a choir school… one only hopes that they are not too noisy or at least that they sing in tune.
The bottom picture is of the building itself, taken from across the square. Our flat can be seen if you look for the iron balconies on the second floor. The left balcony will be ours on the 28th of December.
So soon… so scary.
For the benefit of men who are not interested in pictures of flats, I have also added a picture of Eva Herzigova. She is Czech.
I detest and renounce such cheap and attention-grabbing activities on high quality literary blogs, however do I believe that it is in the interest of cultural awareness that it is published.
